Dr. Marvin Mondale Ama-Amadasun is a practitioner and graduate of information systems, cybersecurity and data leadership. He is also recorded as Marvin Mondale Ama, Ama Marvin Mondale and Marvin M. His graduate study is concentrated in management and information technology. In July 2014, Monarch Business School Switzerland admitted him to the Master of Philosophy in Business Research. On 1 June 2016 the same school admitted him to the Doctor of Philosophy in Information Systems and Technology. He later completed a Master of Business Administration in Cybersecurity at the Swiss School of Business and Management Geneva (SSBM Geneva). In July 2021 he fulfilled the requirements of SSBM Geneva’s Certified IT Cybersecurity Professional course.

His earlier professional qualifications sit in software quality, service management and project control. On 31 March 2010 he was awarded the BCS Information Systems Examination Board Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (ISTQB), through Prometric. He passed the ITIL Version 3 Foundation examination with EXIN on 27 October 2009 and the PRINCE2 Foundation examination with APM Group on 12 February 2010. In April 2010 he completed Kaba GmbH training on the exos 9300 access-control system.

In November 2017 he was elected Fellow of the Institute of Information Management (FIIM-001206). In November 2021 he was nominated under the MIT CDOIQ Programme as Country Chief Data Officer Ambassador (CCDOA) for Nigeria for 2021/2023.

AUBSS and QAHE have jointly awarded him the title of Honorary Professor in Cybersecurity and Health Information Governance. The title is honorific. It is not a salaried university chair and does not by itself create a public-university professorship or a licensed professional status.

The honorary title records AUBSS and QAHE’s recognition of this documented combination of doctoral and master’s study in information systems and cybersecurity, professional certificates in testing, IT service and project foundations, fellowship in information management, and data-officer ambassador work in Nigeria.
