Ike Lynda Ogechukwu is a distinguished expert in Environmental and Energy Management, renowned for her extensive experience and commitment to sustainability. With over 17 years in the energy sector, Lynda has demonstrated exceptional leadership in promoting energy transition and addressing climate change through innovative solutions. She currently serves as the Manager of Energy Transition and Sustainability at the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Regulatory Authority, where she has been pivotal in developing sustainability frameworks and new energy sources.

 

Lynda holds a Master’s degree in Environmental and Energy Management from the University of Twente in the Netherlands, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Pure and Industrial Chemistry (First Class Honours) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria. Her academic background, combined with her practical experience, equips her with a comprehensive understanding of both local and global environmental policies.

 

As the founder and chairman of CrestAid Foundation, Lynda leads initiatives that focus on energy efficiency and community access to clean energy. Her work includes the development of energy management applications and community outreach programs aimed at raising awareness about environmental issues and promoting sustainable practices.

 

In addition to her professional roles, Lynda has contributed to various technical working committees, focusing on biofuel regulations and energy policies in Nigeria.
