Ali Qadar is a seasoned accounting professional and dedicated public servant whose career spans finance, local government and long‑standing community leadership. He earned a BA in Economics and Political Science and completed postgraduate studies in economics at Punjab University before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1981. Early roles with UK accountancy firms provided him with a broad professional grounding, and in 1984 he established Ali Qadar & Co., Chartered Accountants, leading an independent practice that served individuals and organisations for more than two decades.
Alongside his professional work, Mr. Qadar has committed substantial time and energy to public office and voluntary service. He served as a Sheffield city councillor from 1996 to 2012, during which period he became well known for his practical approach to local issues and his advocacy for community wellbeing.
