The American University of Business and Social Sciences (AUBSS), in collaboration with the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE), is pleased to announce the conferment of the Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) in Sustainability, ESG and Impact Investing upon Mr. Alson Boo Chun Ngee.

Mr. Alson Boo is a distinguished sustainability and ESG consultant, leadership coach, and social impact practitioner with over a decade of experience in advancing sustainable finance, responsible investment, and organizational transformation. As the Founder and Principal Consultant of SHG Academy in Singapore, he has played a significant role in developing professional education programs focused on financial sustainability, impact investing, and carbon credit analysis.

Through his work at SHG Academy, Mr. Alson Boo has designed and delivered professional certificate programs in Financial Sustainability and Impact Investing & Carbon Credit since 2016. His training programs have equipped professionals and organizations across Asia and beyond with the knowledge and practical tools to integrate sustainability into financial decision-making and corporate strategy. In addition to his work in professional education, he actively advises organizations on ESG integration, sustainable finance frameworks, and ethical leadership practices.

Mr. Alson Boo’s contributions extend beyond consultancy and training. He is deeply involved in mentoring future leaders and supporting community development initiatives focused on youth empowerment, financial literacy, and social resilience. His commitment to building capacity in sustainability and impact investing has earned him recognition across multiple professional platforms in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
